CBF confirms interim coach and friendly match with Morocco – 02/15/2023 – Sport

The CBF announced this Wednesday morning (15) the first commitment of the Brazilian team after the World Cup in Qatar: a friendly against Morocco, on March 25, at the Ibn Batouta stadium, in Tanger.
Ramon Menezes will lead the team on an interim basis. He commanded the victorious campaign of the Brazilian team in the South American sub-20.
Tite had already informed that he would not continue in office in 2023 even before the World Cup in Qatar. Last month, he visited the CBF headquarters and terminated his contract.
Along with Tite, assistants Cléber Xavier, César Sampaio and Matheus Bacchi (son of Tite) left the Brazilian team, as well as physical trainer Fabio Mahseredjian; physiologist Guilherme Passos; and performance analysts Thomaz Koerich and Bruno Baquete.
Ednaldo Rodrigues, president of the CBF, finds it difficult to define the permanent substitute.
The CBF prefers a foreign technician with “unquestionable” status and, preferably, who speaks Portuguese or Spanish.
Carlo Ancelotti, coach of Real Madrid, is one of the favourites.
