Cará Festival joins the Official Amazon Events Calendar

Manaus (AM) – Representative Cristiano D’Angelo (MDB) guaranteed a prominent place for the Cará Festival, an annual tradition in Caapiranga (199 kilometers from Manaus), by including it in the Official Calendar of State Events, through Law 6,703 /2024. The measure not only recognizes the importance of the festival for the local community, but also elevates it to a prominent tourist attraction, generating visibility, attracting investment and tourists.

The Cará Festival, which celebrates the main agricultural product exported by Caapiranga, now stands out as a symbol of the city, rooted in its cultural heritage passed down from generation to generation.

With the support of the new law, Caapiranga is preparing to welcome new enthusiasts of the Cará Festival, thus consolidating its position as an unmissable destination for those looking for a cultural experience rooted in local traditions.
