The interim minister of the Institutional Security Office (GSI), Ricardo Capelli, said this Thursday (27) that he intends to edit an ordinance to oblige the body’s servers to present proof of vaccination against Covid-19. The measure will be required from the employees of the body that maintains contact with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).

“We are editing an ordinance that obliges GSI employees to present an updated vaccination schedule for Covid-19. Anyone who maintains contact with the President of the Republic must comply with the instructions given by the health authorities”, said Cappelli in the twitter.

The interim minister is conducting a “renewal” among the agency’s employees. So far, 87 civil servants have been exonerated from the GSI. It is not possible to know, however, how many of the soldiers who left the portfolio took the initiative to ask for exoneration. Some of them would not have agreed with the measures taken by the Lula government and by Capelli.
