Caio André says he will seek solutions for the payment of the health base date

According to the councilor, June would be the deadline for payment of the base date, which did not occur.

The payment of the base date of municipal public health workers was once again the agenda discussed at the City Council of Manaus (CMM) this Tuesday (11). Apart from the speech by councilor Marcelo Serafim (PSB), who took the matter to the tribune, the president of the CMM, councilor Caio André (Podemos), made a commitment to seek the Municipal Executive in order to resolve the impasse.

Caio André once again stated that the Legislative House has been fighting, since the beginning of this 18th Legislature, for labor issues that may benefit professionals from different areas.

“Any and all raises, any and all Positions, Careers and Salaries Plan was voted unanimously in this House and was approved in pursuit of improving working conditions and salaries of municipal public servants”

he said.

Representing the category, health workers occupied the Adriano Jorge plenary gallery. The president of the CMM also stated that the City Council, as the Legislative Power, needs to unite in favor of these professionals.

“We need to come together to definitely resolve the issue of the database of health professionals, together with the Manaus City Hall. Not a day can go by without there being a forecast for the payment of the base date”

said the president of the CMM.

Caio ended by inviting the other parliamentarians to meet again with the mayor of Manaus, David Almeida, and the holders of the municipal finance and health secretariats, in order to resolve the impasse and give a positive feedback to the municipal health public servants.

“As of today we will leave here and go in search of the mayor of Manaus, secretary Clécio Freire (Semef), secretary Shádia Fraxe (Semsa), so that we can find a more urgent way out as possible, because there is already a loss of at least minus three months in relation to the base date for health professionals, this is inconceivable and we are not going to agree with that”
