Approached by the Federal Police after an episode of hostility towards Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the STF (Federal Supreme Court), at Rome’s international airport, Roberto Mantovani Filho, 71, said he was waiting for an official statement on the accusation against him to be able to detail your version of the episode.
Businessman Roberto Mantovani Filho said he was accompanied by his family, including two granddaughters, aged 4 and 2, when questioned by police officers upon arrival in Brazil. He, his wife and son-in-law are the subject of an investigation by the PF, called to investigate the circumstances of an approach to Moraes and family members at the airport terminal in the Italian capital.
The agents are also investigating whether there was aggression against one of the ministers’ children. Asked about this suspicion, the businessman preferred not to comment.
“The police didn’t ask anything about that, so I prefer to wait to find out what I’m being accused of, if my family is being accused of something,” he said.
Upon landing in Brazil early this Saturday, around 5 am, the businessman and his family were heard by federal agents.

The businessman stated that the police officers gave him the option of talking to the PF delegate at that time or at another opportunity, to be scheduled.
According to him, as he was accompanied by “my two granddaughters, aged 4 and 2, my daughter, my 20-year-old son, my son-in-law and my wife”, the group decided to leave.
“I’ll wait for a statement [da PF] to know that I’m being accused,” he said.
