The Brazilian national team is called up for the FIFA U-20 World Cup. Undefeated champion of the South American category, coach Ramon Menezes has called up 21 athletes for the World Cup to be held in Argentina. The list has 14 remaining holders of the title in Colombia and another seven that were part of the world cycle with hopscotch.
The presentation is scheduled for May 8, when the training period begins at Granja Comary, in Teresópolis. The competition begins on May 20, with the Brazilian debut the following day, against Italy, in Mendoza.
Brazil is in group D. In addition to the Italians, the selections of Nigeria and the Dominican Republic close the bracket. There are six groups of four countries.
