[ad_1]

The 2024 season will be very busy in Brazilian football and promises to generate debates about important absences caused by competitions between national teams. The calendar, defined by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), was released last month.

Note in your diary the start and end dates of the main championships involving Brazilian football in 2024: Copa São Paulo de Juniores, Estaduais, Supercopa do Brasil, Recopa Sul-Americana, Campeonato Brasileiro (Series A, B, C and D) , Copa do Brasil, Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana. There will also be games for the Brazilian team on FIFA Dates, such as the two friendlies that Brazil will play in March against England and Spain, the Copa América, in the United States, and the Paris Olympics.

The Copinha will involve 128 teams, which were divided into 32 groups with four members each. Leader and vice-leader of each bracket advance to the second phase. The promise is that the match will be at Pacaembu, which is still under renovation.

The Brazilian team will enter the field on ten occasions in 2024 to comply with the FIFA Dates. Four friendlies are planned in the first semester and six 2026 World Cup qualifying games in the second. During these periods, the national calendar will be interrupted to avoid harm to teams that transfer athletes to the national teams.

On the other hand, during the Copa América, the Brasileirão will not be interrupted, being affected by up to nine rounds. The same happens at the Olympics. In this case, however, the clubs are not obliged to give players to the team, which still needs to confirm its participation in the Paris Games in the Pre-Olympic, which will be played between January 20th and February 11th, in Venezuela.
