The Governor of Amapá, Clécio Luís (Solidariedade/AP) confirmed during a plenary session of the Federal Government’s Pluriannual Participatory Plan (PPA), this Tuesday (20) that Amapá has three separate structuring works of the Amapá quota — among all in the country — taken to the last meeting of governors with President Luís Inácio Lula da Silva.
The three works listed by Clécio are the completion of the BR-156, the Port of Santana and the Marajó Waterway. “These are structural works that are directly linked to the development and economic growth of our state, the first being the integration of Amapá with the Guiana Plateau and Europe; the second due to the port vocation of the municipality of Santana and the third the establishment of a new fluvial route from Amapá to Pará, via Ilha de Marajó”, said Clécio.
The event was held in the auditorium of a private college in Macapá and brought together representatives from different segments of civil society, as well as politicians of all stripes, popular and community leaders.
Representing President Lula in the plenary, Minister Márcio Macêdo, from the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, explained that in Lula’s dialogue with the governors, the proposal was presented that each state should list three priority works to be embraced by a new federal government works program, along the lines of what was the PAC, the Growth Acceleration Program. “The three works presented by Governor Clécio will be analyzed by the government team and will be treated accordingly, which does not exhaust the fulfillment of other demands that the state may come to present through its representatives”, said the minister.
Interaction
The preferred audience for the plenary sessions are representatives of organized civil society, but any citizen can participate. Entries can be made in advance, on the PPA Participativo page, or in person, before the beginning of each plenary session. The Brasil Participativo platform allows contributions from anyone interested in collaborating. For that, it is only a criterion to have the registration in GOV.BR.
In its participatory format, the program is a partnership between the Ministry of Planning and Budget (MPO), responsible for preparing the Pluriannual Plan (PPA), and the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, which articulates social participation. It also counts on the participation of the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services, the Civil House and the Social Communication Secretariat of the Presidency.
