Bolsonaro shares message against Kassab and then deletes it – 02/18/2024 – Panel

Former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) shared this Sunday (18) with allies a message that contains criticism of the national president of the PSD, Gilberto Kassab, stating that he is a “faker”.
The message was sent via a broadcast list on the WhatsApp application and commented on an interview by Kassab with the Brazil Journal portal.
In it, Kassab says that President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), “guarantee dialogue between left and right”.
The message shared by Bolsonaro states: “To maintain his 3 ministries in the Lula government, Kassab behaves like a ventriloquist of all the rot on the left. This fraudster’s only concern is his three ministries.”
It is not possible to know whether it was the former president himself who wrote it, or whether he simply forwarded a message he received.
After the Panel contacted the former president, via advisor, the message was deleted by Bolsonaro.
It is not the first time that the former president has spoken out against the PSD cardinal. At the beginning of the month, in an interview with Oeste magazine, Bolsonaro said that he “represents the character of the old Brazilian politician.”
Kassab is Government Secretary in the Tarcísio administration. The PSD is in charge of three departments on the PT’s Esplanada.
