Lawyers for former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) delivered this Tuesday (4th) the third package of jewelry presented by Saudi Arabia, which includes a Rolex watch. The delivery took place at a Caixa branch, in Brasília, in the Federal District, and complies with a determination by the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU).

Delivery information was published by former communications secretary Fabio Wajngarten on Twitter. “The delivery reiterates the commitment of President Bolsonaro’s defense to return all the gifts that the TCU requests, complying with the guidance of the former president of the country, who always respected the legislation in force on the subject”, he wrote.

Former president Jair Bolsonaro will testify to the Federal Police (PF), this Wednesday (5), about the jewelry case. Bolsonaro arrived in Brazil last Thursday (30), after spending three months in the United States.

The inquiry was initiated after the newspaper “Estado de S. Paulo” revealed that the presidential entourage brought from Saudi Arabia a set of jewels valued at R$ 16.5 million, which ended up being seized by the Federal Revenue Service. Two other sets of jewels would also not have been declared when the delegation arrived in Brazil.
