Bolsonaristas hit Zambelli; Janaina ponders: ‘I warned you’ – 02/23/2023 – Power

Conservative parliamentarians who support Jair Bolsonaro (PL) criticized the opinion of federal deputy Carla Zambelli (PL-SP) that the former president should be in Brazil to lead the opposition and that the focus of conservatives should be President Lula (PT ), and no longer the STF (Federal Supreme Court).

In an interview with SheetZambelli criticized Bolsonaro and raised the white flag to Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the STF.

“I have been saying that, as a deputy, my fight cannot be the same as the last legislature. I had the role of defending Bolsonaro and the government, anyone who attacked them had to become my target. In this legislature, Bolsonaro is no longer president , so our target has to be Lula, his deeds and misdeeds,” said Zambelli in an interview with Sheet.

“We are on another level, now is not the time to hit the STF”, completed the deputy.

In the same interview, Zambelli made another criticism of Bolsonaro. “In the live that Bolsonaro did on December 30, he had to make it clear what he thought. He would be a remedy [contra o golpismo] if he had said it was for people to leave the barracks.”

The deputy also stated that she thought she would be arrested and said that she sought the office of Minister Alexandre de Moraes to relax the relationship.

In the PL, part of the parliamentarians pressures Bolsonaro to return to Brazil even at the risk of being arrested, while part believes that he should preserve himself, rest and cool off in Florida, where he has been since the end of December.

Councilman Fernando Holiday (Republicans), a former MBL now converted to Bolsonarism, said on the networks that “it’s easy to criticize Bolsonaro now that the siege has tightened”.

Commentator Caio Coppolla, linked to the right, criticized the deputy’s position regarding Bolsonarist concentrations in the barracks.

Asked about the focus of the opposition with Lula in the presidency, federal deputy Junio ​​Amaral (PL-MG) said he disagreed with the deputy. “I think the attacks have to be directed at everything that is wrong, be it Lula, be it the STF, even the opposition, if it acts in a wrong way”, he affirmed.

“In order for us to be as correct as possible and meet the expectations of our voters, we have to be faithful to our values. I’m not saying that it’s worth continuing to attack the STF, but you can’t rely on strategy and not maintain our essence, which is to fight against everything that is in opposition to our values”, he added.

Amaral also says that only Bolsonaro can assess whether it is better to be in Brazil or the United States and that he does not see other names with the same representation capacity as the former president for conservative voters in 2026 —Zambelli says that the right must work on other options in 2026 if the former president is ineligible.

State deputy Janaina Paschoal (PRTB-SP), who maintains independence from Bolsonaro and criticizes him and his allies, says that Zambelli’s statements go in the direction of problems of Bolsonarism that she has pointed out for a long time.

Janaina has already repudiated the belligerent posture and said that the defeat by the PT was, in part, the fault of the former president and radical supporters.
