This Tuesday night (02) the transfer of the body of the fighter Felipe Colares, known as ‘Felipe Cabocão’, to Amapá was confirmed. The information was provided by the Jiu Jitsu Federation of Amapá. The athlete died this Monday (01), aged 29, after being hit by a bus in Rio de Janeiro.
The body of ‘Cabocão’ leaves Rio de Janeiro this Wednesday (03), around 6:20 pm, and arrives in Amapá at 1:35 pm on Thursday (04). The wake, according to a post on social media by the athlete’s wife, will take place at the Paste Vida chapel, in downtown Macapá.
Cabocão had a record of 11 wins and four losses in MMA and was a Jungle Fight featherweight champion in 2017. He also had six fights in the UFC between 2019 and 2022 and had debuted with a victory this year at the European event Ares FC.
