Beto Richa should exchange PSDB for PL to be Bolsonaro’s candidate

One of the main names of the PSDB in the country, federal deputy and former governor Beto Richa may have the Liberal Party membership (PL) confirmed after a meeting in Brasília, this Wednesday (13), with the presence of national leaders and deputies from Paraná.

The PL has not yet officially disclosed Richa’s affiliation in the party window, but sources interviewed by the report People’s Gazette confirmed that he should change parties and take up the pre-candidacy in Curitiba with the support of Jair Bolsonaro (PL).

The information would also have been confirmed to the PL leaders in Paraná by the national president of the party, Valdemar da Costa Neto. The news took even the party’s interlocutors in the state by surprise, as the state president of the PSDB and the PSDB-Citizenship Federation placed himself as a pre-candidate for mayor of Curitiba and even considered the participation of the former first lady, Fernanda Richa.

The political articulation to attract the traditional toucan to the PL should change the political scenario in the capital of Paraná.

The PSD, the acronym of the governor of Paraná, Ratinho Junior, worked behind the scenes to attract the PL’s support for pre-candidate Eduardo Pimentel, state secretary and vice-mayor in the administration of Rafael Greca (PSD).
