In her speech, she admitted that some of her attitudes fall within structural racism and said that she wants to continue learning to become anti-racist.

“Today I understand that some of my statements and behaviors within the ‘BBB’ house in relation to Davi fall within structural racism, which is so rooted in our society and within us, privileged people. We end up practicing it without realizing how much it affects a population that has already been so hurt and discriminated against for centuries. I do owe an apology to Davi and consequently to his family, and all the black people who felt hurt and offended”,

she said.

At the house, Wanessa became friends with model Yasmin Brunet. The two placed themselves as the main opponents of the Bahian, who has been named as the favorite to win the program so far. Outside the house, Wanessa also highlighted that she intends to study more on the topic.
