The Government of Amapá will grant a 5% salary adjustment to all public servants in the State. The announcement was made on Tuesday night (2), by governor Clécio Luís (Solidarity) himself, in a post on his social networks.

Governor Clécio Luís reinforced that, in addition to the linear increase, an additional 3.62% will be granted to Education workers, totaling an adjustment of 8.62%. The category came to a standstill last year, as it claimed a value greater than just replacing inflation in the period, the so-called real gain.

The percentage proposal, which values public service professionals and respects the public spending ceiling rule, will still be forwarded for approval to the Legislative Assembly of Amapá (Alap), but will have retroactive effects to April 1st of this year, which is the deadline for the salary policy, the so-called state civil service base date.

Clécio recalled that according to the official IPCA indices (Broad National Consumer Price Index), the accumulated result for the last 12 months is equivalent to an inflation rate of 4.14%, but the management decided to grant a little above that, around 5%. .
