Azul will put more flights in Parintins than in the airlift – 05/29/2023 – Panel SA
Azul, the only company that operates the air route between Manaus and Parintins, will operate 74 flights during the boi-bumbá festival, a 15% increase in flights between June 7th and July 5th.
The movement begins to grow on June 29, the day before the start of the festival. And the forecast for the 2nd of July, which marks the closing of the festival, is to surpass the number of trips made on the Rio-SP bridge, the busiest in the country.
On this day, 8 flights are scheduled between Congonhas and Santos Dumont airports and 11 on the Manaus-Parintins route.
The trips will be carried out with Embraer E1 and ATR aircraft, with capacity for 118 and 70 passengers, respectively.
