Attorney General’s Office opens another MPAM headquarters in the interior of Amazonas

Manaus (AM) – The new unit of the Amazonas Public Ministry (MP-AM) will be inaugurated in the municipality of Anori, on February 2, by the Amazonas Attorney General’s Office (PGJ). The work, already completed, is part of the current management’s Action Plan to serve 21 public prosecutor’s offices in 14 municipalities in the interior of Amazonas.

According to the Attorney General of Amazonas, Alberto Rodrigues do Nascimento Júnior, the inauguration materializes the MP’s commitment to increasing access to Justice throughout the State.

“Providing the Public Ministry with its own facilities in the interior municipalities is to ensure the population of Amazonas has full access to Justice and citizenship, by improving the working conditions of members and civil servants and providing services to this public. It’s the MPAM for the rights of our people”,

observed.

On the same day as the inauguration, the Attorney General of Justice receives a tribute on the initiative of the Municipal Council of Anori. Alberto Rodrigues do Nascimento Júnior will be awarded the title of Anoriense Citizen, granted by the legislative house in recognition of the ministerial work carried out at the head of the Amazonian MP and the National Human Rights Group, the National Council of Attorneys General of the Public Ministries of the States and of the Union (CNPG).
