Athletico obtains authorization to have an audience at games at the Arena

The Paraná Sports Justice Court (TJD-PR) accepted the appeal request from the Athletico and released the public with restrictions for the first three games of the 2024 Paranaense Championship at the Ligga Arena. The trial was held this Thursday (11).

Two games will be released for women, children up to 12 years old and people with disabilities, regardless of age – only female companions will be allowed, if necessary. In the other match they will be released seniors only (men and women aged 60 and over) and people with disabilitiesregardless of age.

The club should soon release more details, with information on ticket generation and which games will be targeted at each audience. Fans must bring 1 kilo of food for donation.

Athletico was a pioneer in this measure in last year’s State Championship, when the club also had punishments to comply with. In two games, only women and children entered the Ligga Arena and the news had national repercussions.

Athletico, initially, had been punished with six games behind closed doors and with the matches taking place 100 kilometers away by the Full Court of Sports Justice of Paraná (TJD-PR). But an appeal at the Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD) reduced and modified the sentence.

The punishments for the three games are due to the widespread fight in the first Atletiba of 2023, a duel in the seventh round of the first phase, which ended 1-1. The confrontation between the teams took place in the final minutes, with fights between athletes and an invasion of the playing field. Hurricane fans.

The players involved in that confusion, however, will need to comply with punishments at the start of the State Championship. Of the five Athletico athletes punished, three are still at the club: Thiago Heleno (three games), Pedro Henrique (five) and Christian (five); and two athletes have already left (Pedrinho and Terans).
