Athletico loses to Catandunva and comes in second place

O Athletico lost to Catanduva-SP 2-1, on Monday afternoon (2), in a match played at the Sílvio Salles Stadium, in the third round of Group 2 of the São Paulo Junior Football Cup. Furacão, which now no longer has 100% success, was already classified in advance for the second phase.
Catanduva opened the scoring 12 minutes into the first half, when Ramon got up in the area and Frames he did it head on. This is Athletico’s 28th participation in the Copinha. The best campaign in history was the runner-up in 2009. In the last edition, the club was eliminated by Floresta-CE on penalties, still in the round of 16.
