Athletico announces new reinforcement for the remainder of the season

O Athletico confirmed, this Saturday (13), the signing of midfielder Zé Vitor, which was in Maringá. The player arrives on a loan valid for one year and with an option to purchase. He will wear the number 30 shirt of Rubro-Negro.

“I chose Athletico because this was my dream. Due to Athletico’s greatness, I never considered another option”, declared Zé Vitor, on the official Atleticano website. “I’m where I want to be, very happy to wear this shirt. This is not just the result of my last championship, but of a lifetime’s work”, he reinforced.

At 1.94 tall, Zé Vitor was one of the highlights of the Maringá in the State runner-up campaign. The 23-year-old midfielder belonged to São-Carlense and was on loan at Dogão.

This week, the country club purchased a percentage of the athlete’s economic rights and closed the negotiation, transferring him to Athletico on loan, with an option to purchase.

Zé Vitor was revealed in Goiás and, in addition to Maringá, he also played for Vila Nova, Goianésia, Grêmio São-Carlense and Operário. Like Athletico, rival Coritiba also presented a proposal, but the player opted for Furacão.

Last Tuesday (9), the athlete watched the 6-0 defeat of Rayo Zuliano at the Ligga Arena, was attacked by the fans at the end of the game and also received praise from coach Cuca. On Friday (12), Zé Vitor had already appeared in the CBF’s Daily Newsletter (BID) wearing the Athletico shirt.

“I was in the stands and I really wanted to go down to the field. I hope I can soon feel the energy that the stadium brings to us, with the fans all behind us”, said the new reinforcement.
