Athletes from Amapá travel to compete in the Brazilian Under-17 School Futsal Championship – News of Brazil

The Amapá School Sports Federation (Fade) and the State Department of Sports and Leisure (Sedel) were in Fazendinha and Pracuúba to meet with the Futsal teams that will represent Amapá in the Brazilian Under-17 School Futsal Championship, which will take place in Salvador (BA) from November 18th to 26th.
The men’s and women’s teams, represented by the champion schools of the Amapaense School Games, will have the opportunity to showcase their talent and compete with other student-athletes from across the country.
“We are very happy that our team, here in Pracuúba, is representing us in this competition. We hope to bring the best results for men and women.”said the head of Sedel, Rudney Cunha.
This initiative is carried out by the Ministry of Sports and the Superintendence of Sports of the State of Bahia, in partnership with the Brazilian Confederation of Indoor Football and has the support of the Amapaense Federation of School Sports (Fade), Amapaense Federation of Indoor Football (Fafs), State Department of Education (Seed) and State Department of Sports and Leisure (Sedel), which covered the travel expenses of the entire delegation, showing the state’s commitment to the sporting development of its young talents.
“We will be very well represented. Our athletes are eager to get there and do well, show the football they have here”said Olivaldo Nunes, president of Fade.
