Manaus (AM) – Athletes and para-athletes covered by the 2023 State Sports Grant have a deadline of January 30th to report on their activities for the period in which they received the subsidy. The second edition of sports sponsorship, offered by the Government of Amazonas, through the State Secretariat for Sports and Leisure (Sedel), benefited 131 athletes, in the capital and interior of the state.
“Recipients must respect the deadline for submitting all necessary documentation, at the Sedel protocol sector, located in the Vila Olímpica de Manaus, on Avenida Pedro Teixeira, Dom Pedro, from 8 am to 12 pm and 1:30 pm to 5 pm on Mondays. on Thursdays and on Fridays until 2pm”,
said the Secretary of State for Sports and Leisure, Jorge Oliveira.
Sponsorship beneficiaries must pay attention to the deadline established for the delivery of the report containing photographic documents, printed materials, among others that prove the considerations required in the contract. If it is not complied with, the athlete may be suspended from receiving sponsorships from the Government of Amazonas and become a defaulter in Sefaz’s Integrated Administration System (AFI).
The 2023 State Sports Grant covers more than 30 sports, providing financial support to local talents. Sponsorship has become a fundamental tool for the development of sport in the state, contributing significantly to the training of high-performance athletes, winning titles and medals in competitions of international relevance.
