Manaus (AM) – The process of Signing a Sports Sponsorship Contract for the State Sports Grant 2023 begins tomorrow (21) and continues until Friday (22), for athletes and para-athletes who were approved in the notice. With its second edition launched by Governor Wilson Lima, on April 25th of this year, the benefit aims to support athletes with amounts ranging from R$400 to R$3,000.

Those awarded by Bolsa Sport 2023 must appear in the Arena da Amazônia administration room, from 8:30 am to 4 pm. The complete list of results can be seen on the website of the State Secretariat for Sports and Leisure (Sedel) (www.sedel.am.gov.br), as also published in the Official State Gazette no. 35049.

This year, 307 athletes registered and 131 approved, an increase of 30% compared to the first edition of the sponsorship, launched in 2022, with 60 from the base categories, 63 from the high performance and eight from the Olympic and Paralympic performance categories.

Athletes and para-athletes who do not show up on the informed dates may have payment delays. For further clarification, Sedel’s legal department will be available at the secretariat’s headquarters, in Vila Olímpica de Manaus, Avenida Pedro Teixeira, Dom Pedro neighborhood.
