Jadson Moraes has 11 victories in his record, with 4 knockouts and 3 submissions

Jadson Moraes, born in Urucará (261 kilometers from Manaus), has been a Mix Martial Arts (MMA) athlete since 2014, and current champion of the Mr. Cage Championship, in the bantamweight category up to 61 kilos. The Amazonian, who has the support of the Government of Amazonas, through the Bolsa Sport Estadual in the high performance category, is inspired by big names in the sport to realize his dream of reaching the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

“The Government of Amazonas is committed to supporting Jadson and other talented athletes from Amazonas, investing in programs such as Bolsa Sport Estadual, so that they can continue training, competing and achieving great things on the national and international sporting scene,” said Jorge Oliveira , Secretary of State for Sport and Leisure (Sedel).

The athlete started in martial arts, practicing jiu-jitsu, in 2013, but over time he began to stand out in training and began to seek to learn new styles and fighting modalities. Jadson is inspired by the fighting style of Anderson Silva, one of the greats in MMA history, and hopes to join the UFC like his idol.

“I started the sport when I was 20 years old, I always had the dream of being a fighter. I started following Anderson Silva, I always liked his style, watching the fights on television and my desire to be a professional in MMA and join the UFC, which is the biggest fighting event in the world, was born there”, said the athlete.

Jadson is the current Mr. Cage champion, in the bantamweight category up to 61kg, for him the most important and remarkable of his 11 victories. “I have 22 fights in MMA, but certainly the most memorable was winning my belt at Mr. Cage. I would like to thank the Government of Amazonas, which, through Bolsa Sport, encourages athletes not to give up on their dreams and to walk the journey, which is arduous and laborious”, concluded the Amazonian.
