To celebrate the two-year anniversary of ASU Restaurante, chef Danilo Tagikawa invited chef Manu Buffara to prepare a special four-hand dinner. The event takes place on August 22, at 7 pm, and reservations can now be made by calling (41) 4141-5231.

The guest’s choice is not by chance – Manu was the one who brought Danilo to the culinary world. Throughout the month, Tagikawa intends to invite other chefs who also had an impact on his career.

“The proposal to invite chefs to cook in this ASU anniversary month has a special meaning for me. I want to bring people who passed through my life, in terms of career, and who had and still have an influence on my trajectory in gastronomy. It was with Manu that I learned that cooking involves much more than the act of cooking. It takes discipline, agility, consistency, humility and, above all, resilience to move forward, doing work that goes beyond the ordinary”, says the chef.

In addition to the special anniversary dinner, ASU is renewing its à la carte menu. O prime rib pork, one of the new options, comes breaded, accompanied by a salad of herbs and a fermented pepper sauce. Another dish on the new menu is the short ribgrilled on the barbecue and served with carrot lacquered in tucupi and passion fruit, in addition to a purple romaine lettuce salad with shrimp emulsion, pickled red onion, buttery cassava cream and egg farofa.
