According to delegate Cesar Saad, from Drade (Police Station for the Repression of Sports Intolerance Crimes), the fight that killed Gabriela took place around 6 pm, that is, three hours before the start of the match, on Rua Padre Antônio Tomás, in entrance to the visiting sector.
Flamengo fans would have thrown bottles at Palmeiras fans who were on the other side of a fence.

Electronics technician Ettore Marchiano, 49, told the Sheet that the daughter had a passion for Palmeiras. As a child, she even got on the pitch with former goalkeeper Marcos, according to her mother, nanny Dulcilene Prado Anelli dos Santos, 49.
On Saturday, Marchiano left Gabriela around 2 pm at the Campo Limpo subway station, the same neighborhood in the south zone where the family lives. From there she found friends and left for Barra Funda, in the west zone, where she would watch the game.
