The competition continues over the next few weekends. The winner takes home a trophy and a cash prize of R$ 1,500. The runner-up will receive a cash prize of R$1,000.
O Sport Noble, from the Hospitalidade de Santana neighborhood, was the first team to enter the field, disputing against Strength, from the Zerão neighborhood. Sport Nobre won the match 2×0.
The second match was between Palmeiras, from the district of Mazagão, and the home team, Internacional. Who won with 3 points for the finals was Internacional. The last match commanded by Paysandu do Mazagão and Corinthians de Santana, had a draw: 2×2.
Bahia, from the Zerão neighborhood, won by WO, as it would compete with Criciúma from the North Zone of Macapá, which withdrew before the match started.
“We invite the population to come and participate and honor women’s sport, as a way of encouraging athletes. In total, ten teams enter the field exceptionally on Sundays, there are several teams from different locations involved in this great event valued by the municipal management, it is local sport being seen with different eyes”, says the event coordinator, Marcos Araujo.
for the athlete Ana Paula Teixeira, 20 years, the victory of the Internacional team is a reflection of dedication in training. “Total focus to get here, now it’s keeping and taking home the trophy”comments the player responsible for the team’s first goal.
Who also scored the net in the first half of the game was Ciranete Costa, better known as Aunt Nanda. The Sport Nobre player congratulated the group’s performance. “We only played with nine players, but the result came on the scoreboard, the team was dedicated and showed what it came for. We played with unity and strength on the field and now it’s time to move on to the next games”he said.
The event receives support from the Municipality of Macapá, through the Municipal Coordination of Sports and Leisure (Eat), with the donation of balls, trophies, nets and goalposts.
