Manaus (AM) – In an unprecedented initiative in Amazonas, the population will be able to participate in choosing the projects that must receive individual amendments from federal deputy Amom Mandel (Cidadania-AM). The vote is part of the process of the 1st Participatory Public Notice for Amazonas Budget Amendments and will take place from this Tuesday (26th) until the 3rd, through the Buracometer application.
After budgetary and merit analysis, 97 projects were approved, 10 in the area of Sports, 7 in Social Assistance, 14 in Health, 5 in Culture, 12 in the Environment and 49 in Education. Among the criteria for selecting proposals are the convergence of the project content with one of the themes described and the consistency of the projects sent, so that execution is actually viable.
To ensure the transparency of the process, the population has access to information regarding the institution, the amount expected for amendment and details about the proposal.
“It is important that the population knows where the money that comes out of each of our pockets goes. This is the last stage of the process and we wish luck to all the projects presented, which are very important. We carefully analyze each project and now it is in the hands of the population”,
explained the parliamentarian.
The final result of the selected projects will be announced next Wednesday (4), through the Amom Office website and the parliamentarian’s social networks. A total of R$10 million will be allocated in amendments to be applied in the 2024 Union budget. The Buracometer application is available free of charge for smartphones with Android and IOS systems.
