Senator Esperidião Amin (PP-ES) defended this Tuesday morning (6), during the session of the Joint Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPMI) of the 8/1, the access and the breach of secrecy of the reports of intelligence agencies held by a congressional committee.

He insisted that the rapporteur include in the report the search for information that indicates 11 alerts made since January 6 about the “manifest intention to invade” public buildings. According to him, the three reports by the Brazilian Intelligence Agency (Abin) and an order by Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) on these documents should not be kept confidential.

“The STF and the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) were aware of the imminent risk”, he pointed out. He wants the names of the court officials who received the messages to be revealed. “Omissions are as criminal as actions. And as president Lula said, the door to the Palace was open. Hide the documents only if it is to cover something up, ”he said.
