In the capital of Amazonas, tourists must visit tourist attractions in the city and the Metropolitan Region

Manaus (AM) — The Bahamian-flagged Silver Nova cruise arrived in the Amazonian capital this Monday morning (26). The ship is the eighth of the year to dock at the Port of Manaus during the 2023/2024 season. 1,157 passengers came on board, including 627 passengers and 530 crew, mostly Americans, English, Germans and Canadians.

The Amazonas State Tourism Company (Amazonastur) welcomed cruisers with a dancer performing the boi-bumbá rhythm and distributing a tourist map at the Tourist Service Center (CAT), in addition to bilingual service.

According to Amazonastur’s Marketing Director, Ana Cláudia Rego, the interest of foreign tourists in visiting the largest state in the North of the country is the result of the intense work of the state body.

“Amazonastur has participated in the main national and international fairs, exhibitions and conferences in the sector, promoting the destination, in search of partnerships. It is also worth highlighting that these tourists are coming to the city in search of experiences and this is very important, because there is an impact on the economy, where there is a turnover of revenue for the State”,

highlighted the director.
