Manaus (AM) – After eliminating Sant German-RO with a 2-1 victory last Wednesday (28), Amazonas FC met their opponent in the second phase of the Copa do Brasil under-17: Paysandu. The team from Pará defeated São Paulo-AP at home 1-0 and qualified to face the Feras da Base in the next stage of the national youth competition.
The details were released by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) this Saturday (2). Unlike the inaugural phase, this time there will be round-trip games. Next Thursday (7), Amazonas will go to the Curuzu Stadium, in Belém (PA), at 3pm (Manaus time), for the first game. The following week, on the 13th, Onça-pintada receives the Pará team at the Carlos Zamith Stadium, at 3pm (Manaus time), to define classification for the third phase.
The team that wins on the sum of the scores moves forward in the Copa do Brasil under-17. In case of equality after both games, the winner will be defined in the penalty shootout. In the third phase, the clashes will be formed at the Olympic crossroads, taking into account the campaigns in the general classification.
