Amapá delegation won three medals, one gold, one silver and one bronze

Between August 16th and 20th, the Brazilian Taekwondo Super Championship took place in Fortaleza (CE) and Amapá won three medals, one gold, one silver and one bronze. The delegation from Amapá had 15 representatives in the competition.
The highlight was the gold medal for little Giovanna Igreja, in the -30kg Children’s category. This was the athlete’s first Brazilian championship, who became the youngest person from Amapá to be Brazilian champion in her category.
The silver came with the athlete Gabriel Nascimento, in the +87kg adult category, and the bronze came with Evelyn do Vale, in the +68kg Youth category.
The Championship counts points in the national ranking and guarantees a place for the Grand Slam that will define the Brazilian National Team 2024.
