Amapá wins podium in 10 types of regional online gaming cup – News of Brazil

Amapá won the podium in ten modalities of the Copa Reis do Norte, a regional virtual competition that serves as a qualifier for the national stage. The Amapá representatives secured 4 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze.
The event was encouraged by the State Government and mobilized competitors from seven Amazonian states. R$25,000 in prizes were distributed. With these achievements, Amapá promises a promising future in group and individual e-sports in 2024.
The Copa Reis do Norte brought together the work of the Amapá Electronic Sports Federation (Feapee) in partnership with the State Secretariat for Culture (Secult), and support from state deputy Kaká Barbosa.
The president of the federation, Ícaro Maciel, highlights the importance of public policies aimed at the democratization of online and offline games. “We know that various electronic equipment has an extremely high value, and here, young people, regardless of social class, can have contact with consoles, computers, and become interested in virtual sports”explains Icarus.

3rd place: League Of Legends, Dota 2 and eFootball 2024
Kings of the North Cup
Competitors face each other in matches and elimination matches in games such as: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO 2), Dota 2, League of Legends (LOL), League Of Legends: Wild Rift, Valorant and Rainbow Six. Each type of PC Gamer has its own regulations.
