Daniele Bulhosa, central referee, and Cristiane Mendes, assistant, participated in the second group of the development course for female referees promoted by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) in partnership with FIFA.
The RAP-FIFA Women’s 2023 course is a pioneering initiative by CBF and FIFA, which aims to promote the development and training of female referees and assistants across the country. With the collaboration of the FIFA structure, the course has a body of instructors of national and international renown.
Regildênia Moura, course coordinator and first woman to join the Arbitration Commission, highlighted the importance of this second group and highlighted the promising expectations regarding the performance of the participants. The president of the CBF Arbitration Commission, Wilson Seneme, reiterated the relevance of the course for the preparation of female arbitration and thanked the president of the CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues, for his unconditional support.
The participation of Daniele Bulhosa and Cristiane Mendes in this course is a milestone for female refereeing in Amapá and a source of inspiration for other women who wish to pursue a career in this area.
