From 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, 18th, in the Senac auditorium, more than one hundred representatives of micro and small companies, as well as businessmen, merchants, entrepreneurs and specialists from the sector will gather at the ‘Amapá Export Day’, an event designed to boost the export of state products all over the world.

Amapá Export Day is carried out by the Secretariat for International Relations and Foreign Trade of the Government of Amapá in partnership with the mandates of Senators Randolfe Rodrigues and Davi Alcolumbre. Participating in the event is former Senator and Governor of Acre, Jorge Viana, who chairs the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex).

On the LuizMeloEntrevista program (Diário FM 90,9), this morning, Senator Randolfe Rodrigues informed that the presence of the Apex president at the event means that Amapá will have the exhibition and export of its products boosted in the national market and also in the international market.

Amapá, recalled the senator, exports practically only wood and ores, but lately it has given a boost with products derived from cocoa and açaí, participating in international chocolate fairs and international food fairs. From October 23rd to November 1st of this year, seven local companies will participate in two events in the United States, one in Philadelphia and the other in New York.

Two companies from Amapá are being accredited to participate in the Chocolate Salon, in October and November, in Paris.

This is the biggest chocolate salon in the world. “We have a lot of good things done in Amapá, which have not yet been offered for sale in exports. The arrival of Jorge Viana is mainly because of this”, said the parliamentarian.
