Amapá athletes win eight medals in international tournament, in French Guiana – News of Brazil

Eight table tennis players participated in the “Ping Amazone” event
Between the 13th and 15th of October, table tennis athletes from Amapá participated in the “Ping Amazone”, an international tournament that took place in Cayenne (French Guiana), and brought together athletes from both sides of the country.
The people from Amapá won the competition title and eight medals, six gold, one silver and first place overall in teams. The highlight was 11-year-old athlete Arthur Enzo, who after less than a year in the sport, won his first gold.
The organizers of the event on the French side were responsible for the athletes’ accommodation, food and crossing (round trip). Amapá was responsible for Macapá-Oiapoque logistics.
