The President of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Amapá (Alap), congresswoman Alliny Serrão, reported on the morning of this Monday, 24, in the program ‘LuizMeloEntrevista’ (Diary 90.9)that the mayor of Laranjal do Jari, Márcio Serrão, In a gesture of public responsibility and commitment to the development of the state of Amapá, it handed over the work to build the bridge over the Jari River to the federal government.
The bridge is the municipality’s responsibility, however, as the president of Alap explained, the City Hall of Laranjal do Jari does not have the technical capacity to build it, and so Márcio Serrão, understanding the importance of construction for the development of Amapá, he decided to hand over the work to the Union.
The bridge over the Jari river, when built, will connect Amapá, by land, to Pará and, consequently, to the rest of the country. So far, the state only has air and water connections. Under the responsibility of the City Hall of Laranjal do Jari, the work began about 20 years ago, with the installation of pilasters, two of which, collided by vessels, left the level, needing to be corrected or even replaced.
the deputy Alliny Serrão estimated that for the Jari river bridge to be erected, R$ 120 million is needed, with the possibility of reaching up to R$ 150 million. “It is a dream of Amapá to interconnect with the rest of the country, and our wish is that this dream be realized in the not too distant future”hoped the parliamentarian.
Alliny, on the radio program, pointed out senator David Alcolumbre, of his party, União, as a great representation of the state of Amapá, having even become president of the National Congress, now president of the CCJ of the Upper House, and also a great political inspiration for her.
The deputy also included the recent rise of Davi to the Coordination of the Parliamentary Bench of Amapá in Brasília. “With all this, we can dream and make our dreams come true. Today we go through the municipalities and see paving, buildings, when before the city halls sometimes could not even pay the civil servants’ payroll”scored.
Alliny Serrão, finally, he hoped for the complete paving of the BR-156 which, to be completed on the north side, up to Oiapoque, depends on around 70 kilometers. On the south side, the Army is working on paving one of the stretches. The highway, from Laranjal do Jari to Macapá, is around three hundred kilometers long.
