Alckmin and Josué seek to demonstrate rapport at Fiesp – 04/17/2023 – Panel

On a visit to the headquarters of Fiesp (Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo) this Monday (17th), the vice-president, Geraldo Alckmin, showed several signs of rapport with the entity’s president, Josué Gomes da Silva.

Alckmin, who is also Minister of Development, accepted Josué’s suggestion that a working group be created in the government on natural gas. Both also discussed the renewal of the Brazilian fleet based on sustainability, with less polluting vehicles.

In the end, the deputy, known for the large amount of coffee he drinks, praised the coffee that was served at Fiesp. In response, Josué from Minas Gerais told Alckmin from São Paulo that both formed “a café con leche duo”, in reference to the union, in the Old Republic, between politicians from both states.

Alckmin’s gestures to Josué are not gratuitous. Son of José Alencar, deputy of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in his first two terms, the president of Fiesp was almost removed from office by an internal movement attributed to allies of Bolsonarist Paulo Skaf, former commander of the entity.
