Alap joins the debate on prospecting and exploring for oil off the coast of Amapá – News of Brazil

The Legislative Assembly (Alap) will hold a public hearing with the aim of clarifying the importance of prospecting and exploration that the Petrobras plans to carry out on the Brazilian equatorial margin in the Atlantic extension from Amapá to Rio Grande do Norte.
The information about the event, whose date has not yet been set, was given by state deputy Delegate Inácio, on the morning of this Wednesday, 26th, on the radio program ‘LuizMeloEntrevista’ (Diário FM 90.9).
The parliamentarian added that on Friday, the 28th, he would travel to Houston, in the United States, to join the president of the State Deliberative Council of Sebrae, Josiel Alcolumbre, to participate in a fair that he said was the largest in the world on oil activities.
“With the support of president Alliny, and as vice-president of the Entrepreneurship Commission at Alap, we are going to Houston to appropriate the knowledge of how the oil chain works. On the way back, we will convey at the public hearing what is needed to attract investors in this sector”predicted the deputy.
Delegate Inácio assured that by calling the debate on oil to itself, the Legislative Assembly envisages the participation of people from Amapa in activities on the Atlantic coast that will have repercussions not only in the municipality of Oiapoque, but also in other parts of the state.
The deputy informed that upon his return from the United States, a public hearing will take place in the Alap auditorium. Afterwards, he will propose to the President of the House, Alliny Serrão, an itinerant session in Oiapoque.

Only in this time when a license is expected for research 540 kilometers from the mouth of the Amazon River, out to sea, the movement in Oiapoque has transformed with full hotels, planes and many people arriving”recorded Delegate Ignatius.
