Alap approves salary adjustment for education professionals – News of Brazil

The Legislative Assembly of the State of Amapá (Alap) approved, on Wednesday, 06, unanimously, Ordinary Law Project No. 0011/2023 (PLO0011/23-GEA), originating from the Government of the State of Amapá, which grants realignment salary of 4.16% for education professionals.
Added to the adjustment approved by Alap and sanctioned by governor Clécio Luís in April, the salary realignment of education professionals in the state in 2023 is 9.76%. The measure affects all workers in the area: basic and professional education teachers, indigenous teachers, pedagogues, Indigenous Pedagogues, education specialists, specialists in indigenous education, educational assistants and indigenous educational assistants.
The 18 parliamentarians present at the 64th Ordinary Session of the 1st Legislative Session of the 9th Legislature also voted in favor of PLO0003/23-TJAP, originating from the Judiciary and which establishes the Incentive Retirement Program (PAI) for employees of the Court of Justice of Amapá (TJAP); and PLO0003/23-PGJ, sent by the Attorney General’s Office and which grants adjustments to the bonus functions of employees of the Public Ministry of the State of Amapá (MP-AP).
“The project intends to encourage employees eligible for retirement to become inactive without increasing the Court’s budgetary expenses, even taking into account the costs of filling the resulting vacancy”, explains the Judge. Adão Carvalho, president of TJAP, about the proposal of the institution he presides over.
Another acclaimed device was PLO0179/23-AL, authored by licensed deputy Paulo Nogueira (PT), which declares the March for Jesus as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Amapá. “By approving this bill, we will celebrate cultural diversity, respect for religious beliefs, the promotion of tourism and, above all, the valorization of the March for Jesus as a sociocultural and tourist-religious expression that enriches the identity of the state of Amapá”explains Walnut, in justifying the proposal
The matters now go to the governor’s office Clécio Luís, which may sanction, veto or partially veto them.
