The Attorney General’s Office (AGU) filed a public civil action this Friday (28) against 27 people who participated in the invasion of the Planalto Palace, the National Congress and the headquarters of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), in Brasília, during the acts of January 8. The lawsuit asks that those responsible be ordered to pay for the damage caused to public property.

As reported by G1, AGU confirmed the action. The agency also reported that, to support the process, publications made on social networks by the protesters themselves were used. The publications are part of an intelligence report by the Federal Senate police.

The document brings images in which people appear celebrating the invasion. According to the AGU, this is the seventh action filed against the protesters. The processes so far involve a total of 250 people, three companies and a union. The federal government estimates the damage at R$ 26.2 million.
