The internal system of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) was invaded this Thursday (19) again. On the 5th, a false arrest warrant against the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) Alexandre de Moraes was even registered with the CNJ. The attack took place on the platform of projects developed in the agency’s collaborative environment. The information was released by columnist Paulo Cappelli, on the Metrópoles portal.

In a note, the CNJ confirmed the invasion and stated that access to the system should be normalized this Friday (20). The Federal Police will investigate the case. “This Thursday (19/1), the Department of Information and Communication Technology of the National Council of Justice identified atypical accesses to the GitLab platform, a repository of projects developed in a collaborative environment,” the agency told Metrópoles.

The CNJ reported that the “platform was taken offline and all access to the service was temporarily suspended” and stressed that the “environment was cleaned up and compromised credentials were identified and disabled”. “New security measures have been implemented and the investigation into the facts remains confidential, with an investigation already initiated before the Federal Police”, said the Council. The problem was detected only in the institution’s information technology area.
