After attack on daycare, children are veiled in Blumenau

Four children who were murdered after the attack on a day care center in Blumenau are being held this Thursday (6th) in the municipality of Santa Catarina. The children, 3 boys and a girl, were between 4 and 7 years old.
According to police, a 25-year-old man broke into the premises with an ax and attacked the children as they were playing in the school playground. After the teachers tried to defend them, he left the scene and handed himself over to the guard of the 10th BPM, where he was arrested and forwarded to the Civil Police. After the tragedy, classes were suspended in the municipality and will only return next Monday. The governor of Santa Catarina, Jorginho Melo, declared a 3-day mourning period in the state.
