Federal deputy Aécio Neves (PSDB-MG) mocks the likely departure of former President Dilma Rousseff to China, to take charge of the Brics bank, a bloc formed by Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
“That the PT and President Lula did not want former President Dilma around, neither in the campaign nor in the government, was known by all. But sending her to Shanghai [sede do banco] with so many little mouths closer together it becomes cruel,” he says.
Dilma should head the financial institution if the current president, Marcos Troyjo, resigns, as he has been pressuring the government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
As the Panel showed, Troyjo has his doors open in the government of São Paulo, should he leave the bank.
