During the closing of the Janeiro Branco campaign in Vila Nova, the City Hall of Magé announced the expansion of the project that offers activities in the city’s sports facilities, which will now arrive in the neighborhood of the 1st district. In partnership with GRBC Unidos da Vila Nova, karate classes will be offered, in addition to gymnastics for the elderly, functional training, zumba, ballroom dancing, futsal and ballet. Registration is already open on site and the necessary documents are ID and proof of residence.
“In the first week after Carnival, we are going to bring to the Vila Nova court various physical activities for the population, free of charge through the Sports Department. We are advertising at a Mental Health event, because we know that sport is part of this care and brings quality of life. We count on the support of the community so that our classes are full and everyone participates”, said the secretary of Sports, Geilton Câmara.
In addition to the GRBC Unidos da Vila Nova court, the region’s population will soon have another place to carry out physical and sports activities. In April, the City Hall will deliver the new square in the Maria Conga neighborhood, with a synthetic grass court.
“Sport is social inclusion and we are going to put different modalities in the new square. Leisure areas are very important and every day we are going to make a better Magé with a better quality of life”, guaranteed the mayor Renato Cozzolino.
