Move Culture

Manaus will host training activities aimed at those who work or want to work with Culture. Places are limited and registration is open

Manaus (AM) – Movimenta Cultura, an itinerant training action promoted by the Tatajuba Cultural Center (Imperatriz/MA) and sponsored by the Vale Cultural Institute via the Federal Culture Incentive Law, began this year the circulation of the Training Cycle in Culture Management. The initiative seeks to promote professionalization, job creation, income and new opportunities through art and culture. The project will cover more than 25 municipalities in three regions of the country: Northeast, North and Southeast, and hold 60 free training workshops, until March 2024.

In Amazonas, Movimenta Cultura will offer two workshops in Manaus. The city will host the “Elaboration of Cultural Projects” workshop and the “Cultural Entrepreneurship” workshop, aimed at producers, managers, educators, local artists and other professionals involved in the sector. Those interested in participating must fill out the registration form available on the project’s social networks: instagram.com/movimenta.cultura, facebook.com/projetomovimentacultura and linktr.ee/movimentacultura.

Training and generating opportunities through art and culture

The “Cultural Project Development” workshop will teach you about all the stages of creating a cultural project. From conceiving an idea to writing the project, including structuring the project into laws to encourage culture and fundraising. The activity will be taught by professor Cris Moreira, cultural manager, actress and specialist in Cultural Management and Political Science.

The “Cultural Entrepreneurship” workshop will present information about the Creative Economy, a segment that is gaining more and more strength in Brazil and around the world. Through content and exercises, the activity will show new perspectives for businesses, projects, services and products linked to culture and integrated with nature and territory, in order to strengthen economic sectors. The workshop will be taught by Jussara Rocha, social entrepreneur, historian and specialist in Network Governance and Territorial Development, creative business management and social impact projects.

Movimenta Cultura is an itinerant training action promoted by the Tatajuba Cultural Center, made possible by the Federal Culture Incentive Law, sponsored by the Vale Cultural Institute and carried out by the Tatajuba Institute, Ministry of Culture and Federal Government (Brazil, Union and Reconstruction).
