Commission holds 1st Seminar on Prevention and Fight against Drug Use

The event aims to strengthen the debate on the subject in the Amazonian legislative sphere.
Manaus (AM) — In allusion to World Drug Combat Day, next Monday (26), the Drug Policy Commission of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Amazonas (Aleam) will hold the 1st State Seminar on Prevention and Combat of Drug Use: Strategies and Impacts. The event will start at 8:30 am, in the Belarmino Lins Auditorium of the Legislative House.
Conceived by the president of the Commission, state deputy Daniel Almeida (Avante), the main objective of the event is to strengthen the debate on the subject in the Amazonian legislative sphere and, through ideas, build solid strategies for confronting and liberating drugs.
“We want to expose projects that are helping families and dependents. We will have independent people and thinkers on the subject who want to contribute to the construction of public policies on drugs that need to work in our state. Therefore, we will be debating this search for advances and sewing the holes in the support network for dependents, in order to end the failures and effectively help our people “
said the parliamentarian.
Speakers and specialists in the field will share their experiences and knowledge, on a theme aimed at professionals in the areas of health, education, social assistance, public safety, students and the general public. “It is open to the public sensitive to this cause. We will have a rich and very constructive seminar”declared Daniel.
