Tarcísio appoints second woman to vacancy at TJ-SP – 12/06/2023 – Panel
[ad_1]
The governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), appointed Ana Paula Patiño to the position of judge assigned to law at the State Court of Justice. She was part of the triple list defined by the Special Body based on a recommendation from the OAB (Brazilian Bar Association).
In May, the governor had already appointed another woman, prosecutor Marcia Monassi, to a position in the Public Ministry.
An ally of the governor claims that with the two female nominations for the vacancies open this year, Tarcísio differentiates himself from President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).
The PT member appointed two men to the STF: Cristiano Zanin and Flávio Dino (this one, replacing a woman, Rosa Weber).
