The former mayor of Rio de Janeiro Marcelo Crivella (Republicanos-RJ) and the national vice-president of PT Washington Quaquá missed the vote that maintained the arrest of deputy Chiquinho Brazão (no party-RJ), suspected of being one of the leaders of the murder of councilor Marielle Franco (PSOL-RJ), in 2018.

In addition to them, four other parliamentarians from the state were not present: Soraya Santos (PL-RJ), Marcos Soares (União-RJ), Luís Carlos Gomes (Republicanos-RJ) and Aureo Ribeiro (Solidariedade-RJ).

On a social network, Crivella posted a story made this Wednesday morning (10) in which he participated in a service of the evangelical parliamentary front.

The deputy also made a post in which he showed that he was present at the session of the CCJ (Constitution and Justice Commission) that approved an opinion to maintain Brazão’s prison. In the collegiate, the former mayor voted to release the suspect of ordering Marielle to be killed.

Quaquá didn’t even come to Brasília this week. On Monday (8), he posted a photo on social media of himself lying on a bed and with the caption “I couldn’t get out of bed with a cough, sore throat and fever today.”

In the following days, however, the national vice-president of the PT participated in the opening of a pet store in Maricá, in addition to making posts about the municipal dispute in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
