Chef Carla Pernambuco celebrates the arrival of the Year of the Dragon by welcoming chef Thompson Lee for a special dinner today, February 28th. Lee, one of the country’s greatest experts in Chinese cuisine, has run Yoshi Culinária Asiatica for almost two decades in São Francisco Xavier. The duo will prepare an unprecedented menu with seven stages, paired with wines, with dishes such as Wonton soup (photo), translucent broth enriched by dumplings, Orange beef and ⁠Hake in Tauci sauce. The restaurant Gosto com Gosto, by chef Mônica Rangel, is celebrating 30 years of founding with a special program, which should extend throughout the year. On March 16th, the guest is Mantiqueira’s chef, Anouk Migotto, who will prepare a special four-handed dish, as well as trout ceviche as a starter and the proceeds will be dedicated to the victims of the floods that occurred in Visconde de Mauá. The fish were donated by the Truta Rosa group, a fish farm in Santa Clara. The next confirmed names are chefs Vitor Sobral, Ivan Achcar and Tereza Paim.
